Stewart Title of
California is set to enter the property and casualty insurance industry with
the launch of Stewart of California
Insurance and Financial Services. The company represents a portfolio of
insurance carriers, including Allied Insurance, The Hartford and Travelors.
Stewart of California
Insurance and Financial Services, SIFS, is an independent agency, working with
more than 45 A-rated insurance companies nationwide, said Mark McCormick,
executive vice president and chief financial officer.
In addition to the
traditional home, auto, motorcycle and life policies, SIFS, through its various
underwriters, also offers personal liability, umbrella policies and individual
health plans.
The company's commercial
insurance products include course of construction and group health, as well as
the more specialized errors and omissions insurance.
Stewart of California
Insurance and Financial Services LLC has offices in California, Las Vegas and
Cincinnati, and is an affiliate of Stewart Title of California. Stewart offers
a complete portfolio of real estate related products, including title,
commercial and personal insurance.
Stewart Information Services Corp. is a real
estate information and transaction management company, providing title
insurance and related information services required for settlement.
